Presented as part of the CII Sustainable Packaging Awards, this recognition celebrates innovations that Eliminate, Innovate, and Circulate—the foundation of a more sustainable future.

The award was received jointly with Colgate-Palmolive India, following the successful 100% implementation and transition of their recyclable rigid packaging solutions.

EPL has been recognised with the Bronze Award in the Best New Sustainable Innovation category at the Pure Beauty Awards for the packaging developed for Pomélo+Co.’s Molecular Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

This honour reflects EPL’s continued focus on advancing sustainable packaging technologies through materials that combine recyclability, performance, and premium aesthetics. The winning tubes are produced using our APR & RecyClass-certified Platina™ laminate, a fully recyclable mono-material designed to meet the evolving expectations of environmentally conscious beauty brands.

EPL is proud to have secured First Place in the Laminate Tubes category at the etma Tube of the Year Awards, reaffirming our leadership in innovation, design excellence, and sustainable packaging.

The award recognises the premium laminate tubes created for POMÉLO+CO’s Molecular Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, crafted using APR & RecyClass-certified Platina™ laminate—a 100% recyclable mono-material engineered for modern premium personal care brands. The tubes blend elevated aesthetics with technical sophistication, featuring refined finishes and a seamless visual identity that enhances the brand’s premium positioning.

EPL wins the CSR project of the year. EPL is the first winner of this award post its inception last year. This award recognises EPL’s achievements in the areas of sustainable community practices, that include plastic waste management, women’s empowerment, skill development and community welfare

EPL wins the prestigious Factory of the year award for the Nalagarh factory, one of the largest tube making plants in the world. The factory was recognized for its resilience, sustainability, and cost management.

It’s with immense pride and happiness that we announce EPL’s recent success at bagging the SIES award for Renovita—a breakthrough in honey-in-tube category. Touted to be one of the best innovations under the F&N category, these tubes are easy-to-use & ensure product freshness till the last drop.

With the current award, EPL Europe is now among the finalists for the fourth time. The etma award in the ‘Sustainability’ category went to the fully recyclable SuperCoco and SuperGreen tubes from happybrush®. The laminate used for this is a development of EPL Ltd. and thus also a result of the company’s ‘Go Green’ initiative. The award-winning products are 35 mm in diameter and are among the first commercial laminate tubes made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics. The production of these tubes is very demanding and highly complex, as PCR tubes have to meet all the necessary barrier properties throughout their life cycle and return to their original shape after each use.

The selection criteria include the overall volume of patent publications, number of unique inventions, the patent grant success, the extent of globalization of patents, and the citations received by the patents.

EPL bagged Procurement Excellence Award -2015 in the category of “Most Improved Purchasing Operations” during 9th Express, Logistics & Supply Chain Conclave.

EPL adds another golden feather in its cap by winning the prestigious ‘IMC Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality (RBNQA) Performance Excellence Trophy 2015 in Manufacturing category for the Goa Factory.

European Tube Manufacturers Association (ETMA) presented Tubes of the Year 2014: The first place in the Laminate Tube category went to the AXE Peace tube from EPL Deutschland for Unilever’s European product launch.

EPL was awarded the AON Hewitt Award-2013 for ‘Best Employer Commitment to Engagement’. The award was presented at the Best Employers Awards Ceremony in India on January 15, 2014.

The PFFCA Star Award-2009 was awarded to EPL in the ‘Eco-friendly Packaging’ category for the EPL fully-biodegradable tubes and ‘New Applications’ category for the transparent clear PBL tube.

The India Star Award-2008 was received by EPL in the ‘Consumer Packaging-Ecofriendly Packaging’ category for the Etain tube (PCR code 2) and in the ‘Food Packaging Application’ category for the all-plastic see-through tube.

PFFCA Awards-2008 were awarded to EPL in the ‘Eco friendly Packaging’ category for the Etain tube (PCR code 2), in the “Innovation & Creativity- New Application” category for High barrier laminated Pharma/Cosmetic tube and in “Product Development-Basic Substrate” category for the Holographic tube.

PFFCA Awards-2007 was awarded to EPL in the ‘Innovative Packaging’ category for the oval tube created for Fair & Lovely and also in the ‘Creative Packaging for Pack Enhancement’ category for its efforts in implementing five-colour silk printing on the co-extruded Parachute hair gel tube.

EPL received the PFFCA Award-2005 in the student (trainee) category for Creative
Packaging and Innovative Application in the manufacturing of its breakthrough soft-feel tube, produced for Reckitt Benckiser’s hair removal cream and also its transparent tubes devised for a children’s jam.

PFFCA Awards-2003, given out by The Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers’ Association, was granted to EPL in the ‘Innovation in Packaging’ and ‘Creative Packaging’ categories for designing and developing the long nozzle tube for Garnier Under Eye Cream, the transparent tubes for Colgate paste and the Fair & Lovely tubes

EPL was awarded the Plasticon Award-2003 by Plast India Foundation in the categories of ‘Innovation and Packaging’ and ‘Creative Packaging’ for the manufacture of long nozzle tubes used for Garnier Under Eye Cream, transparent tubes used for Pears Face Wash and Fair & Lovely tubes. The awards, recognizing excellence in plastics, was given away by Shri Ram Naik, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, at an awards function in New Delhi. The awards were handed in recognition of EPL’s contribution towards innovative development, to appreciate efforts in conserving scarce resource and to increase the role of plastics in the country’s economic growth.
